Walking tour with our tour leader to Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato’s church for an amazing view from the top of Firenze!
Take in some of the most famous works of the Renaissance period. City tour begins with a visit to the Piazza del Duomo, the Battistero, the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, Campanile di Giotto, and the Palazzo Strozzi. It continues to the Galleria dell’Accademia. Walking tour with our tour leader to San Lorenzo open market and visit handcraft workshops, leather factory, paper or straw hats… a look back into the Middle Ages!
In private motor coach, travel to: Anchiano, the countryside or hamlet of Vinci which is Leonardo’s birthplace, and Bacchereto, where his grandmother lived, and where Leonardo was exposed to Vinci’s longstanding painting tradition. It is here, in the family kiln, that he also delved into the art of ceramic production and sculpture.

The Park includes the territories situated along the course of the river Adda, in particular along the stretch crossing the high plain below the lago di Como and including the lakes of Garlate and Olginate. This stretch of river winds across the narrow banks with typical outcroppings of conglomerate reefs (the so-called “ceppo”) and it forms a characteristic landscape where thick woods alternate with more populated areas.
