You can admire the most beautiful Public Park and gardens in Palermo: the Garibaldi Garden.
Visit to Monreale to admire the marvelous and priceless mosaics.
Today enjoy a full immersion in the ancient traditions of Sicily:
– IL CARRETTO SICILIANO: one of the symbols of the region. These small “wagons” were used to transport people or work tools; on the occasion of festivals or processions they were meticulously decorated by real artists called “carradori”. Today the most beautiful can be admired in the Museum of the Sicilian Cart in Terrasini, near Palermo.
– I PUPI SICILIANI: visit Antonio Pasqualino International Puppet Museum, all well exposed and interesting, especially the puppet show.
– IL GELATO: enjoy a tasting of sicilian gelato during a visit of an artisan ice cream parlour. Take a closer look at ice cream making!

Trasfer to Caltagirone via private motorcoach and stop in Agrigento.
The city has a valuable and abundant ancient Greek heritage. The Valley of Temples belongs to the heritage of humanity: The Olympian Temple of Jupiter, Temple of Dioscuri, the Vulcan Temple, Temple of Hercules, Temple of the Concordia and the Temple of Juno.
Continue to Caltagirone and hotel check-in.

Visit Caltagirone today. Located on three hills, almost forming an ancient amphitheater, Caltagirone overlooks the plains of Catania and Gela and is one of the most beautiful and ancient cities in Sicily.
Partly destroyed by the earthquake of 1693, the old part still retains charm and history so much so that it was included in 2002 in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The city is very famous for its fine ceramics and you will visit the Ceramics regional Museum and you could and partecipate to a workshops.

Siracusa is nestled in an enchanting golf and offers an extraordinary panorama: inside the historical center of Ortigia Island you will tour the city notable for its rich Greek history, culture, amphitheatres, architecture and as the birthplace of the preeminent mathematician and engineer Archimedes.
Return to Caltagirone for dinner.
Transfer to Taormina with private motorcoach and stop in Catania for a city tour.
On the slopes of Mt. Etna, Catania has a history which is bound to the great volcano. The visit to the city starts at Ursino Castle and continues on until the Piazza del Duomo where the Municipal buildings and Cathedral are. Very characteristic is the Elephant Fountain, with an obelisk which comes from ancient Egypt. You continue on towards the antic Roman Theater and the Church of San Benedetto.
Take a break and taste the typical cannolo or cassata cake!
Continue to Taormina (or Letojanni seaside) and hotel check-in.
Visit Taormina and the Greek Theatre. Enjoy this little town, a very popular tourist destination since the 19th century. In the afternoon free time for shopping in Taormina or beach time in Leojanni.

TOUR PROGRAM
The Programs on the website are sample descriptions only.
Superciao Tour will insert the final Program and details in your website area, 30 days prior to departure and will inform the Group Leader and all the participants of all the Tour details: the DAY BY DAY. The Day by Day will provide all information pertinent to your trip.
PROGRAM CHANGES
SCT reserves the right to make any necessary changes pertaining to activities closures, or for reasons that jeopardize the safety of participants. SCT may cancel a Tour due to insufficient participants.
LAND ONLY
Participants may choose to purchase only the land portion of the trip. Participants must then make their own round trip travel arrangements and join the group at the first hotel accommodation. When a participant is not with the main group, SCT is not responsible for the participant in any way. Domestic or international flights or transfers of any kind outside SCT are responsibility of client: Tour participants who choose land only must arrange transportation from airport to the first hotel and vice versa on their own.
SCT will deduct $ 1000.00 from the package price quote.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
The cancellation policies outlined below take into consideration the costs SCT incurs long before groups ever depart.
Notice of cancellation from a tour will only be accepted from the participant, his or her legal guardian or the group leader.
The date of cancellation will be determined by the date on which SCT receives written notice to the following email addresses:

Cancellation refunds can only be made to the person whose name appears on the account; monies cannot be transferred to another account.
The refunds will be made within 50 days from the request.

PASSPORTS, VISAS & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
A valid US passport is required for travel for US citizens. If you do not have a valid passport please contact your closest passport office. Passports must be valid at least 6 months after the return date. US citizens do not need to obtain visas for Italy. When and if visa is required it is passenger’s responsibility to obtain one. Cancellations due to lack of appropriate travel documents will incur usual penalties.
PASSPORT NAME
Participant’s name must be registered EXACTLY AS IT APPEARS ON ONE’S PASSPORT!
Upon receipt of the airline ticket, the passenger is responsible to check the itinerary, spelling of his/her name, dates, times to insure its validity. If the airline allows, it will charge a $ 250 change fee each time the ticket is altered. Once a ticket is issued, it belongs to person in whose name it was issued.
The participant will be responsible for any fees applied by the airline if exact information has not been provided. Should the ticket have any errors, it is the passenger’s responsibility to contact Superciao Tour srl immediately.
SPECIAL TRAVEL CONDITIONS DUE TO COVID-19
SCT will inform and support the group with all the necessary information for the procedures to be implemented according to the pandemic situation at the time of travel. Each participant must complete and sign a WAIVER OF LIABILITY form.
BAGGAGE
Each tour participant is advised to bring one suitcase and one small carry-on bag (8”x14”x22”). The Airlines New Baggage Regulations are as follows:
* For passengers travelling in Economy-Class: 1 piece at 50lb (23kg) maximum dimensions of 45 in. (158 cm); the sum of the 3 dimensions must not exceed 62 in. (158 cm) for each bag.
* Carry on Items: 1 piece maximum weight 18lb (8kg), maximum dimensions 22x15x8 in (55x40x20 cm).
Please check with your specific airline to verify the size and weight allowances.
Superciao Tour is not responsible for any loss, delay of or damage to luggage or its contents and for any event during the time the participants are not on board.
