DAY 2: ARRIVAL IN VENEZIA AND CITY TOUR
Your Venetian adventure will begin by following the course of its canals, “campielli” (term used for the small squares of Venezia), its foundations, and bridges. You will admire some of the most famous places in the world: Piazza San Marco, Palazzo Ducale, Ponte dei Sospiri, the Ca’ d’Oro and the Rialto.

DAY 3: THE VILLE PALLADIANE OF THE VENETO
This excursion is highly interesting from the historical, cultural and artistic point of view. Situated along the Brenta River between Padova (Padua) and Venezia there are many beautiful country mansions (known as “ Ville Palladio”) built by rich Venetian families from the 14th century onwards. We will board the “BURCHIELLO” and navigate to Villa Widmann.

DAY 4: PO DELTA
Today you will experienced once in a lifetime journey through the evocative landscape of one of Italy’s most beautiful natural parks: the Po Delta, a land that has been shaped through time by the slow flow of the river. Tour Isola Ca’ Venier.

DAY 5: TRIESTE
Trieste and its Miramare Castle that dominates the gulf. The city borders Slovenia and is characterized by Austrian Hungarian buildings dated from the end of the 1800’s. Walking city tour with our tour leader and return to Venezia by private motorcoach.

DAY 6: MURANO AND THE LAGOON
You will take a private motor boat for a spectacular ride to reach the island of Murano. You will visit the world famous glass making factory, where traditional and artisan works are made: Mastro Vetraio explanation. Visit Murano and the Museo del Vetro.

DAY 7: UNKNOWN VENEZIA
A tour to discover the lesser known areas of Venezia. The sestiere (neighborhood) of Cannaregio can be found in the northwestern section of the city, and is one of the few areas still inhabited by Venetians. Free time in Venezia, gondola ride or walking city tour with our tour leader.

DAY 8: TRANSFER TO VERONA
The city of Romeo and Juliet. Some of the main attractions are: the Basilica of San Zeno, a masterpiece in Romanic style, Castelvecchio, the Arena, a fascinating and grandiose monument dating back to roman time and utilized even today for the production of opera, the home of Juliet (and the famous balcony), Piazza delle Erbe and Arche Scaligere.

Padova, the Saint and Giotto. Tour of the centre: Abbazia di Santa Giustina, Prato della Valle, Piazza del Santo, the Basilica di Sant’Antonio: a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica that is visited as a place of pilgrimage by people from all over the world.
