In the morning ITALIAN LESSON 1 (onsite) – Let’s learn useful phrases and communication tips for traveling in Italy!
Historic and artistic itinerary among the most important vestiges of Renaissance culture: Piazza del Duomo, Battistero, Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, Campanile di Giotto, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. The tour continues to the Galleria dell’Accademia to admire its masterpieces of Italian and European art from the 12th to 18th centuries, its impressive collection of Florentine and Tuscan painting, and Michelangelo’s magnificent David.
Visit the traditional florentine leather factory and Mercato di San Lorenzo. Walking tour with our tour leader to San Lorenzo open market and visit handcraft workshops, leather factory, paper or straw hats… a look back into the Middle Ages.
Enjoy the experience at Botteghe dei sapori @Mercato Centrale for dinner!

You will have a short tour of Cinque Terre in the region of Liguria: a UNESCO World Heritage Site which attracts visitors from around the world who come to admire its natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant culture. It’s a place where time seems to stand still, offering a glimpse into the traditional way of life of coastal Italyhose beautiful coast is studded with colorful houses. Walk along the Love Route “La strada dell’amore”. The day will end at your hotel for your dinner and overnight.

In the afternoon you will visit the Galleria degli Uffizi where you can admire many masterpieces of Italian and European Painting from XII century to XVIII century, the most extraordinary exposition of Renaissance Florence.

Start your day with the ITALIAN LESSON 4 (online) – Let’s learn useful phrases and communication tips for traveling in Italy! Today visit Ca’ Foscari, a public university, founded on August 6, 1868, as the Higher School of Commerce. It is recognized nationally and internationally for research achievements and the quality of interdisciplinary, internationally oriented education. The university community consists of over 23,000 students and 1,400 faculty and staff from around the world.
In the afternoon enjoy another city tour to discover the lesser-known areas of Venice. The sestiere (neighborhood) of Cannaregio can be found in the northwestern section of the city and is one of the few areas still inhabited by Venetians. The path starts from stop “Cà d’Oro” and ends at “three arches”. It goes through an area little known by tourists, where you will discover the old confraternities of Venezia, unique and little-known churches, and the Jewish Ghetto.

Full day trip via private motorboat dicovering the venetican lagoon: Murano, Burano and Torcello
Murano: You will visit the world-famous glass making factory, where traditional and artisan works are made: Mastro Vetraio explanation. (Shopping for gifts in the glass factory.)
Visit Murano and The Museo del Vetro.
Burano: The tour continues to the picturesque island of Burano, famous for its lace manufacturing and colorful houses.
Torcello: The island is home to several notable landmarks, including the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, which dates back to the 7th century and contains impressive mosaics. The Church of Santa Fosca, another historic structure, is also located on Torcello. Visitors to Torcello can explore its rich history, admire the architecture, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this less-visited island in the Venetian Lagoon.
Return to your hotel by private motorboat and dinner.
Transfer to Milano via private motorcoach. Stop in Verona for a guided city tour of the city of Love! Walking city tour, the city of opera of Romeo and Juliet and the Adige River. A city rich in history, literature, art and music. The Basilica of San Zeno, Castelvecchio, the Arena, a magnificent and fascinating monument from Roman times, still used today for lyric operas, the house of Juliet, Piazza delle Erbe and Arche Scaligere.
Continue to your hotel in Milano and check-in.

Business class upgrades or flight deviations (from departure date/location or return date/location) must be requested and confirmed with the carrier. Any and ALL additional costs are the responsibility of the requesting participant/teacher.

TOUR PROGRAM
The Programs on the website are sample descriptions only.
Superciao Tour will insert the final Program and details in your website area, 30 days prior to departure and will inform the Group Leader and all the participants of all the Tour details: the DAY BY DAY. The Day by Day will provide all information pertinent to your trip.
PROGRAM CHANGES
SCT reserves the right to make any necessary changes pertaining to activities closures, or for reasons that jeopardize the safety of participants. SCT may cancel a Tour due to insufficient participants.
LAND ONLY
Participants may choose to purchase only the land portion of the trip. Participants must then make their own round trip travel arrangements and join the group at the first hotel accommodation. When a participant is not with the main group, SCT is not responsible for the participant in any way. Domestic or international flights or transfers of any kind outside SCT are responsibility of client: Tour participants who choose land only must arrange transportation from airport to the first hotel and vice versa on their own.
SCT will deduct $ 1000.00 from the package price quote.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
The cancellation policies outlined below take into consideration the costs SCT incurs long before groups ever depart.
Notice of cancellation from a tour will only be accepted from the participant, his or her legal guardian or the group leader.
The date of cancellation will be determined by the date on which SCT receives written notice to the following email addresses:

Cancellation refunds can only be made to the person whose name appears on the account; monies cannot be transferred to another account.
The refunds will be made within 50 days from the request.
* Non-refundable fees are also deducted from refunds.

PASSPORTS, VISAS & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
A valid US passport is required for travel for US citizens. If you do not have a valid passport please contact your closest passport office. Passports must be valid at least 6 months after the return date. US citizens do not need to obtain visas for Italy. When and if visa is required it is passenger’s responsibility to obtain one. Cancellations due to lack of appropriate travel documents will incur usual penalties.
PASSPORT NAME
Participant’s name must be registered EXACTLY AS IT APPEARS ON ONE’S PASSPORT!
Upon receipt of the airline ticket, the passenger is responsible to check the itinerary, spelling of his/her name, dates, times to insure its validity. If the airline allows, it will charge a $ 250 change fee each time the ticket is altered. Once a ticket is issued, it belongs to person in whose name it was issued.
The participant will be responsible for any fees applied by the airline if exact information has not been provided. Should the ticket have any errors, it is the passenger’s responsibility to contact Superciao Tour srl immediately.
SPECIAL TRAVEL CONDITIONS DUE TO COVID-19
SCT will inform and support the group with all the necessary information for the procedures to be implemented according to the pandemic situation at the time of travel. Each participant must complete and sign a WAIVER OF LIABILITY form.
BAGGAGE
Each tour participant is advised to bring one suitcase and one small carry-on bag (8”x14”x22”). The Airlines New Baggage Regulations are as follows:
* For passengers travelling in Economy-Class: 1 piece at 50lb (23kg) maximum dimensions of 45 in. (158 cm); the sum of the 3 dimensions must not exceed 62 in. (158 cm) for each bag.
* Carry on Items: 1 piece maximum weight 18lb (8kg), maximum dimensions 22x15x8 in (55x40x20 cm).
Please check with your specific airline to verify the size and weight allowances.
Superciao Tour is not responsible for any loss, delay of or damage to luggage or its contents and for any event during the time the participants are not on board.
